Rovná hora is an important point for hikers and cyclists as it connects various hiking and cycling trails. The saddle is also known as a starting point for ascents to the surrounding mountains such as Pupov vrch, Veľký - Malý Rozsutec and last but not least Jánošík's Hole with attractive marked hiking trails with footbridges, ladders and chains.
Just a few steps from the property is a stylish cottage with a restaurant where mostly traditional dishes are cooked and of course the best halušky.
Right in the hut there is also a shop where you can find home-made cold meats and cheese products from all over the world.

There are several cycling routes in the vicinity of Camp Syrex, but as we are in a mountainous area, we have to take into account the higher difficulty of the terrain.

Kemp Syrex sa nachádza v rezorte Salaš Syrex ktorého súčasťou je aj Farma Bačikovo ktorá je cca 300m od kempu, návštevníci kempu majú vstup na farmu zadarmo.

A little pricey, but otherwise awesome
Beautiful place with amazing views!
It was my first camping experience, and it literally took my breath away. An amazing spot in Malá Fatra, the perfect starting point for trips in the surrounding area. The campground is beautifully maintained, offers plenty of space, and is incredibly peaceful.
The restrooms are clean and fully adequate. A morning shower at an altitude of over 700 meters, accompanied by birdsong, is an experience that’s hard to describe. The restaurant is only about 100 meters away, and I made a point of riding the water slide, which is included in the price.
Honestly, I don’t know what else to say. I was extremely satisfied, and this definitely won’t be my last visit. The owners deserve admiration for their hospitality, care, and efforts to create such a pleasant place for guests.
I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet, beautiful nature, a relaxed atmosphere, and—above all—those views.
