One of the 11 cycling routes in Aš leads directly around the quarry. This area has the densest network of cycling routes in the Karlovy Vary Region. Ride through the Smrčiny PP between Cheb and Aš, or ride across the border to the German Naturpark Fichtelgrbirge
winter sports
Trips on cross-country skis or snowshoes through the white silence are magical here. There is a public ski slope in Háj u Aše. You can skate on the frozen surface in the quarry under suitable conditions. Beware of holes in the ice - the quarry is frequented by hardy people!
water sports
Swimming is possible directly in the clean water of the quarry. Under the roof you can bathe in the Aquaforum Františkovy lázně (9km) or in the city spa in Bad Brambach (14km) where there is a sauna village or in Bad Elster (24km).
activities for kids
Lom není vhodný pro malé děti! Hrana lomu je po celém obvodu 2–6 m nad hladinou a není zabezpečena proti pádu. Většina lomu má hloubku kolem 9 m, pouze na jednom místě je menší mělčina (cca 1 m).
Místo je určeno pro klidný odpočinek v přírodě. Zvažte prosím, zda je pobyt s dětmi vhodný a zda dokážete zachovat klidný charakter místa.

Wander to the places J.W. Goethe liked to visit (Goethe's Rock, Chamber Hill). The circular route near Vernéřov will take you through the history of the region. On the German side, the Vogtland Panorama Weg, which is appreciated by tourists, leads through Bad Brambach.

U lomu jsme vytvořili malý saunový háj, kde je možnost si pronajmout stavovou saunu s kamny na dřevo. Více se dozvíte po domluvě s majitelem.
Také máte možnost zavítat do několika nedalekých wellness center. např.
na Komorní hůrce (https://komornihurka.eu/…ss/) nebo saunová vesnice v Bad Brambachu. Další typy viz. kapitola koupání.

RULES OF THE LOM
Do not damage
The land is located in beautiful countryside that needs to be protected. Please be respectful to the plants, animals and the whole surroundings. Please treat the furnishings with care. Please respect the rules and regulations of the local Nature Park Smrčiny.
Do not make noise
It is a condition of the property and its immediate surroundings that you keep quiet at all times during your stay, including at night. It is forbidden to play loud music and thus disturb the whole area.
Do not fish
No fishing. Please respect the life of the fish that bravely live in this "hungry water". You can feed them and you will be rewarded by their dancing around the food thrown in. Do not throw rocks, sticks or other objects into the quarry.
Do not set fire to
You are only allowed to light a fire on the property in a designated fire pit. Do not cut live trees for firewood. The fire must be kept under control at all times and properly extinguished when finished. Keep an eye on the current situation in the area unless there is a fire ban/extreme drought.
Don't bother
Prohibit the consumption of large quantities of alcohol and other addictive substances which may subsequently cause a nuisance to the surrounding area. Any such visitor will be excluded from the site and this will be done in the presence of the CR Police.
Courtesy and consideration
Please respect your neighbours and other visitors. Smokers please be considerate and do not litter cigarette butts.
Order
Remember to clean up after yourself when you leave, i.e. take all rubbish with you or dispose of it in the designated areas.

Beautiful place, beautiful quarry, clean. We will definitely visit again, I can only recommend it.
A great place and nice host
We were with the apartment on stand number 4 with a wonderful view of the countryside. Swimming in the quarry is great, clean refreshing water. The quarry is not suitable for small children. The owners were great.
