The spot was beautiful; despite the rainy Friday and night, we enjoyed our time there, and we had no trouble leaving the meadow or getting to the road. Since we were there with our grandson, he also enjoyed watching the trains pass by frequently in the distance below the hill. You can hear the trains from the site, but otherwise it’s quiet. There’s also a playground in the village nearby, which is great. Not far away is Botanicus Ostrá, where you can swim in the lake—we spent the whole Saturday there. We spoke with the owner only by phone before our arrival on Friday; he mentioned the possibility of meeting in person on Saturday, but our all-day trip didn’t allow for that. It’s completely private and very nice. Due to the rain and our short stay, we didn’t even get to use the fire pit or the outdoor shower.
